Top to Bottom: David Fincher
3.

The Curious Case of
Benjamin Button (2008)
This is the most
universally appealing of Fincher’s films as it gave him his
first Oscar nomination and got a Best Picture nomination as
well.
It tells the story of a man who
is aging backwards in 20th
Century New Orleans and the extraordinary journey his life
became.
This was the most ambitious of
Fincher’s films, as well as the largest scope and scale of
any of his films.
However, he pulled it off
beautifully to make probably his most complete, well-rounded
film to date.
