She got the best in show reviews for Traveling Pants. She also was great in the underrated independent films Lords of Dogtown and Under the Same Moon. Now, she has won an Emmy and Golden Globe for her series Ugly Betty. Her career is already well-rounded. She embraces her lack of movie star looks, and gets roles that suit her. I am using a comparison to Rosario Dawson due to their dual threat of comedy and drama, as well as their similarly pretty faces. Ferrera has really become her own actress, though. Comparing her to someone is difficult.
