Top 10 Big Screen Performances by Small Screen
Actors
4.

Amber Tamblyn
Stephanie Daley (2007)
Amber Tamblyn is
probably one of my favorite under-the-radar actresses in the
business. Her work is always that of an experienced
professional, yet almost nobody gives her any credit for
being the dramatic actress that she is. Her most famous part
is probably the title role in
Joan of Arcadia,
which earned her acclaim and got her face out there. Since,
she has given a handful of great performances in smaller
films, none of which were better than her performance in
Stephanie Daley.
She will break your heart. It is a bold and difficult
character, and Tamblyn pulls in one of the best performances
of 2007. It is a fantastic piece of acting, and a
performance that should have put her name on the map, but
far too few people saw it, sadly.
